How it Works

Getting a good job in Korea is relatively easy – if you know how. Getting your visa documents ready however, can be a bit of a headache. The following page should help. This is how it all works:

Step 1: Apply Online

Your application will be screened and if successful your profile will be posted on the Flying Cows website.

Step 2: Start Gathering Your Visa Application Documents

Having these documents ready will make a big difference to the amount of job offers you receive. Schools like to interview candidates who have started gathering their documents because they know they are committed to the process.

Step 3: Receive Job Offers (and accept one!)

Job offers come via our Korean team by email. You will receive a job outline and an invitation to have a telephone interview. Once you've had your interview and have been offered a position we ask that you compare your contract with the sample contract on our site and talk to current teachers at the school before accepting.

Step 4: Apply For Your Visa

You need to send your documents to the school. They then submit them to the immigration office who in turn issue a Visa Number for you. Once you have the Visa Number you can apply for your E2 Visa at your nearest Korean Embassy.

Step 5: Fly to Korea (and have the best year of your life!)

Once you arrive you need to have a medical before being issued with your official Alien Registration Card.
